98 CD-ROM before you begin.
A USB cable is not included with your Brother machine, Before you can
set up the USB interface, you must purchase a standard USB cable. Or, if
you prefer to set up the bundled parallel cable, please see “Connecting
Brother Machine to PC Using Bundled Parallel Cable”.

After you have set up the MFC and checked that it is working properly,
make sure your MFC is turned on and your PC is turned off.
