INITIAL SETUP
- A space
- Your number on the local exchange, using spaces to aid readability
as appropriate.
As an example, your machine is installed in the United Kingdom, is to
be used for both fax and voice calls, and your national telephone number
is 0161-444 5555, then you must set the fax and telephone number parts
of your station ID as: +44 161-444 5555

For the FAX-8350P, Press Menu, 1, 3.
For the MFC-9650/FAX-8750P, Press Menu, 1, 1, 3.
The screen prompts you to enter your fax number.
FAX:
ENTER & SET

Enter your fax number (up to 20 digits). The screen displays your
entry.

Press Set. The screen prompts you to enter your telephone number.
TEL:
ENTER & SET

Enter your telephone number (up to 20 digits). If your telephone
number and fax number are the same, enter the same number again.
The screen displays your entry.

Press Set. The screen prompts you to enter your name or your
company name.
NAME:
ENTER & SET

Use the dial pad to enter your name (up to 20 characters). (You can
use the following chart to help you enter letters.)

Press Set to confirm.

Press Stop. The screen returns to the date and time.
The telephone number you have entered is used only for the Call
Back Message and Cover Page features.
If you do not enter a fax number, no additional information can be
entered.
To enter a space, press
once between numbers and twice between
characters.
If your Station ID has already been programmed, the screen prompts
“1” to make a change, or “2” to exit without changing.
