What Type of documents can the Document
Feeder Handle
The document feeder can handle documents that have the following
specifications.
Document size: 148-216 mm wide, (5.8 - 8.5 inches)
100-360 mm long, (3.9 - 14.1 inches)
Document Basis Weight: 64 to 90 g/m
2
(17.1 to 24 lb.)
Document Thickness: 0.07mm to 0.12mm
Paper Capacity
A4/Letter paper: Approx. 30 sheets of 75 g/m
2

Caution
• Do not load labels in the document feeder.
• Do not load transparencies in the document feeder.
✒ Note
• When loading multiple documents in the document feeder, load the same
size and type of document.
• When loading multiple documents in the document feeder, fan the
documents before loading.
• Documents printed in color might stick in the scanning unit. If this
happens, clean the scanning unit.
