Making copies

f Press Mono Start or Colour Start.
The machine starts scanning one side of
the identification card.
g (MFC-J200)
After the machine has scanned one
side, press 1. Turn over the
identification card and press OK to scan
the other side.
(DCP-J100 and DCP-J105)
After the machine has scanned one
side, press a.
Turn over the identification card and
press OK to scan the other side.
NOTE
Sort, Enlarge/Reduce - MFC-J200
(Enlarge/Reduce - DCP-J100 and
DCP-J105) and Remove Bkg. Clr are
not available with 2in1(ID).
You can only make one colour copy at a
time.
Sorting copies 7
You can sort multiple copies. Pages will be
sorted in the order 123, 123, 123, and so on.
We recommend you load single-sided
documents in the ADF

for sorting copies.
For 2-sided documents and books, use the
scanner glass.

MFC models only
a Load your document.
b (MFC models only)
Press (COPY).
c Enter the number of copies you want.
d Press Copy Options and a or b to
choose Stack/Sort.
Press OK.
e Press a or b to choose Sort.
Press OK.
f If you do not want to change additional
settings, press Mono Start or
Colour Start.
If you placed the document in the ADF

the machine scans the document and
starts printing.

MFC models only
If you are using the scanner glass, go
to step g.
g (MFC-J200)
After the machine scans the page, press
1 to scan the next page.
(DCP-J100 and DCP-J105)
After the machine scans the page,
press a to scan the next page.
h Place the next page on the scanner
glass. Press OK to scan the page.
Repeat steps g and h until all the
pages have been scanned.
i (MFC-J200)
Press 2 to finish scanning.
The machine starts printing.
(DCP-J100 and DCP-J105)
Press b to finish scanning.
The machine starts printing.
NOTE
Fit to Page and Page Layout are
not available with Sort.
