5. Start the machine while holding the end of the upper thread

gently.

* The machine will sew a reinforcement stitch and stop au-

tomatically after sewing is completed.

Thick fabrics

If the zipper slide gets in the way, lower the needle all the way

through the cloth, lift the foot, and move the slider out of the way.
