IMPORTANT NOTE 1

 This manual shows the LCD messages of the MFC-J625DW unless specified.

 Most of the illustrations in this User's Guide show the MFC-J625DW.

Memory storage 1

Your menu settings are stored permanently,

and in the event of a power failure will not be

lost. Temporary settings (for example,

Overseas Mode) will be lost. If you have

chosen Set New Default or

Favorite Settings for your FAX, SCAN

(or Scan)

, COPY (or Copy) or PHOTO (or

Photo)

preferred settings, those settings

will not be lost. However you may have to

reset the date and time.

MFC-J625DW and DCP-J725DW only

Automatic Daylight

Saving Time

(MFC models only)

You can set the machine to change

automatically for daylight saving time. It will

reset itself forward one hour in the Spring and

backward one hour in the Autumn. Make sure

you have set the correct date and time in the

Date&Time setting.

a Press Menu.

b Press s or t to display

General Setup.

c Press General Setup.

d Press s or t to display

Auto Daylight.

e Press Auto Daylight.

f Press Off (or On).

g Press Stop/Exit.
