5. Replacing the head PCB

1. Remove the two upper bolts e of the bridge cover w. (Just loosen the lower bolts.)

2. Remove the bridge cover w. The head PCB r is attached to the inside of the bridge cover w.

Note:

The head PCB

r has the connectors t on it. Handle it carefully so as not to damage any wires nor apply excessive

force.

3. Remove connectors

t from the head PCB r.

4. Remove the head PCB

r by pressing the clamps of the four supports y inward, and replace it with a new one.

• Reverse the above procedure for re-assembly.

Notes:

• When removing and reattaching connectors, do not pull on the cables; hold the connectors.

• When attaching the head PCB

r, set the rotary switch u on the head PCB r to the head number.

• Connectors P7 on the head, except for no.1, are unused and not connected to a cable.

• Connector P8 is unused and not connected to cable.
